Conditions of registration

  1. To operate an independent clinic between the hours of 07:00 – 21:00 Monday to Sunday.
  2. The service will only treat service users aged 18 or over.
  3. The service will provide non-surgical treatments and minor surgical procedures.
  4. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
  5. Service users must be treated individually. Group treatments are not permitted.
  6. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
  7. No Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatments or procedures will be carried out.
  8. No treatments or procedures will be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.

Conditions of registration

  1. The provider will operate an independent clinic.
  2. The service must only operate between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
  3. The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely GP consultations and minor surgical procedures, namely excision and biopsy of lesions (up to 2cm).
  4. The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out.
  5. The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics.
  6. The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.
  7. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
  8. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.
  9. The service will treat service users from birth excluding minor surgical procedures.
  10. The service will only carry out minor surgical procedures for service users aged 16 or over.
  11. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and the wider workforce.
  12. The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.
  13. Service users must be treated individually. Group treatments are not permitted.
  14. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
  15. No animals or pets in the area where the service is provided, except for service animals.
