Conditions of registration

  1. The provider will operate an independent clinic.
  2. The service must only operate between the hours of 07:00 and 21:00 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
  3. The provider must only offer dental treatments.
  4. The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out.
  5. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
  6. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using deep sedation or general anaesthesia.
  7. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using moderate sedation unless an appropriately trained second practitioner is present who has the sole responsibility for administering and monitoring the sedation.
  8. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using conscious/moderate sedation unless it is a standard IV sedation technique administered by a trained sedation team who are also responsible for monitoring the patient.
  9. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using conscious/moderate sedation unless it is a standard IV sedation technique administered by a trained sedation team who are also responsible for monitoring the patient.
  10. The provider will treat service users aged from birth.
  11. The provider must ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients.
  12. The provider must ensure that all healthcare professionals working in the service have a license to practice in the United Kingdom.
  13. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
  14. The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.
