Conditions of registration

  1. The provider will operate an independent hospital. 
  1. The service will operate 24hrs Monday to Sunday.  
  1. The provider must only allow medical and surgical assessment and treatment in an in-patient environment. 
  1. The provider must not allow more than 21 in-patient places. 
  1. The provider must not allow more than 40 surgical procedures per day.  
  1. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.  
  1. The provider must only treat service users aged 16 or over.  
  1. The provider must not allow facial or body aesthetic treatments to be provided to children under the age of 18.  
  1. The provider must not allow any procedures to be carried out using any form of general or local anaesthesia or sedation to service users under the age of 16. 
  1. The provider must ensure that patients under the age of 16 are not treated as day case patients.   
  1. The provider must only consult and examine patients between the ages of 3 – 15 years on an out-patient basis.  
  1. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.  
  1. The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered. 
  1. The provider must ensure a registered medical officer is present in the service at all times. 
  1. The provider must only treat patients individually, group treatments are not permitted.   
  1. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care. 
  1. The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.

Conditions of registration

  1. This service will operate as a voluntary hospice providing specialist palliative care.
  2. No one under the age of 18 years to be seen or treated on the premises.
  3. Children over the age of 5 can access counselling and music therapy within the day unit.
  4. To provide a maximum of 12 in-patient places.
  5. A registered medical officer with specialist palliative care to be on call over 24 hours.
  6. To provide 24 hour nursing care.
  7. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.

Conditions of registration

1. The provider will operate an independent clinic.

2. The service must only operate between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.

3. The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely [facial and body aesthetic treatments], [wellness injections and IV therapy treatments], [Blood tests], [general non-surgical procedures], [GP consultation/assessment/treatment], [specialist consultation/assessment/treatment], [occupational health consultation/assessment/treatment], [talking therapy and counselling] and minor surgical procedures, namely [thread lift procedures] and [minor implant of medical device procedures].

4. The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out.

5. The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments (including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics).

6. The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.

7. The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs.

8. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.

9. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.

10. The provider will treat service users aged 16 or over.

11. The provider must not allow aesthetic or cosmetic treatments or procedures to be provided to children under the age of 18.

12. The provider must not allow children under the age of 18 to be present during any consultations, treatments or procedures (unless they are the service user).

13. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.
