Conditions of registration

  1. The provider will operate an independent clinic.
  2. The service must only operate between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
  3. The provider must only allow dental treatments and minor surgical treatments, namely [general minor surgical procedures].
  4. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
  5. The provider must not prescribe medication for patients introduced by an unregulated third-party organisation whereby the established governance structures prohibit, or indirectly restrict, the service being able to communicate directly, either virtual or in person, with the service user. 
  6. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using deep sedation or general anaesthesia.    
  7. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using conscious sedation unless it is a standard IV sedation technique administered by an appropriately trained sedation team who are also responsible for monitoring the patient.
  8. The provider will treat service users aged from birth.
  9. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce. 
  10. The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.  
  11. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care. 
  12. The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.

  4. The service will only provide non-surgical treatments.
  5. Service users must be treated individually. Group treatments are not permitted.
  6. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
  7. No animals or pets are permitted in the area where the service is provided, with the exception of service animals.
  8. No laser treatments or procedures will be carried out.
  9. No Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatments or procedures will be carried out.
