This section brings together real examples of engagement practice to support learning, reflection and improvement. The case studies share how teams and organisations have involved people and communities in shaping meaningful and lasting improvements to health and social care services. Some examples also illustrate how resources from our Participation Toolkit have been used in practice.
Case studies are shared for learning and reflections purposes with content provided by respective teams and organisations which reflect their experiences, approaches and outcomes. Healthcare Improvement Scotland have directly supported some, but not all examples and is noted within each where that has been the case.
