Engaging communities

Summary

Engaging with people about their health is important. It leads to high quality, safe services that are person-centred. It also improves the health and wellbeing of communities. We involve communities in planning and developing health and care services with policy makers and service providers.

We do this by:

  • building and sharing evidence around engagement
  • using knowledge and expertise to improve engagement
  • assuring people’s involvement in shaping services

Beta website

We are redeveloping our corporate website to give you a better online experience. This work will give you better access to our work on improving health and social care in Scotland.

This beta website is available at the same time as an archive of our previous website.

During the beta phase, content is being redesigned and moved from our archive to our beta website.

You’ll navigate between the archive website and beta website for resources. We’ve made this as easy as possible. You’ll find links to the archive website within this beta website.
