Conditions of registration

  1. To operate an independent clinic between the hours of 07:00 – 21:00 Monday – Sunday.
  2. The service will treat service users aged from one year old.
  3. The service will provide non-surgical treatments.
  4. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
  5. Service users must be treated individually. Group treatments are not permitted.
  6. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
  7. No animals or pets in the area where the service is provided, with the exception of service animals.
  8. The service will only provide cosmetic and aesthetic treatments to adults aged 18 and over.
  9. The service will treat service users aged from one year old to 16 years old with vaccinations only.
  10. No laser treatments or procedures will be carried out.
  11. No Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatments or procedures will be carried out.
  12. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  13. No prescribing of controlled drugs.

  2. The service must only operate between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care. 
  3. The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely [facial and body aesthetic treatments] and [wellness injections and IV therapy treatments]. 
  4. The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out. 
  5. The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments (including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics). 
  6. The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out. 
  7. The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs. 
  8. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products. 
  9. The provider must not prescribe medication for patients introduced by an unregulated third-party organisation whereby the established governance structures prohibit, or indirectly restrict, the service being able to communicate directly, either virtual or in person, with the service user. 
  10. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia. 
  11. The provider must only treat service users aged 18 or over. 
  12. The provider must not allow children under the age of 18 to be present during any consultations, treatments or procedures. 
  13. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce. 
  14. The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered. 
  15. The provider must only treat patients individually; group treatments are not permitted.
