This webinar provided an overview of the new SPSP Adults in Hospital Programme structure. It outlined how to get started as a participant in the new programme. It also provided an opportunity to connect with colleagues from across Scotland from acute and community hospitals.
The webinar covered the following workstreams:
- Deteriorating patients
- Falls
- Medicines in hospital
- Pressure ulcers
Our chair was Joanne Matthews. She is the Associate Director of Improvement and Safety at Healthcare Improvement Scotland. We had sessions presented by guests.
There was opportunity for discussion during the four workstream breakout sessions. Our evaluation suggested that conversations were constructive and valuable to everyone involved.
