2. The service will operate 24hrs Monday to Sunday.
3. The provider must only allow health care for the treatment of learning disabilities and
   associated mental illness.
4. The provider must not allow more than 18 in-patient places.
5. The provider must not allow out-patient clinics on a day case basis.
6. The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures
   to be carried out.
7. The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.
8. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
9. The provider will treat service users aged from 18-65 years.
10. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and
    experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and
    welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.
11. The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional
    regulating body are actively registered.
12. The provider must ensure a registered medical officer supported by an on-call
    consultant psychiatrist is available at all times.

Conditions of registration

1. The provider will operate an independent psychiatric hospital.
2. The service will operate 24hrs Monday to Sunday.
3. The provider must only allow mental health care in low secure accommodation with rehabilitation facilities.
4. The provider must not allow more than 57 in-patient places. A maximum of 36 in-patient places at Dalmellington Road, KA6 6PG a maximum of 8 in-patient places at 31 Prestwick Road, KA8 8LE and a maximum of 13 patients at 15-17 Station Road Mauchline KA5 5ES.
5. The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.
6. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
7. The provider will treat service users aged 18 or over. Named service users between 16 years – 18 years may be seen or treated on an individual basis after prior agreement with Healthcare Improvement Scotland and other relevant healthcare services.
8. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.
9. The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.
10. The provider must ensure a registered medical officer supported by an on-call consultant psychiatrist is present in the service at all times.
11. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.

1. The service will operate as an independent hospital providing a range of medical and surgical healthcare services.
2. No one under the age of 3 years to be treated on the premises.
3. Patients under the age of 3 years may be seen for outpatient consultations only. To provide a maximum of 101 in-patient places.
4. To provide out-patient clinics.
5. A registered medical officer to be present in the service over 24 hours while the service is operating.
6. A registered sick children’s nurse must be on duty when children are being treated as in-patients.

1. The provider will operate an independent psychiatric hospital 
2. The service will operate 24hrs Monday to Sunday 
3. The provider must only allow specialist detoxification and mental health care for the treatment of addictions. 
4. The provider must not allow more than 82 in-patient places.
5. The service can provide out-patient clinics. 
6. The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics. 
7. The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out. 
8. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products. 
9. The provider must ensure that patients under the age of 16 are not assessed or treated on the premises 
10. The provider must only consult examine and treat patients above 16 years on an out-patient basis.
