Conditions of registration
- The provider will operate an independent clinic.
- The service must only operate between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
- The provider must only allow dental treatments and non-surgical treatments, namely facial and body aesthetic treatments and minor surgical treatments, namely thread lift procedures.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using deep sedation or general anaesthesia.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using conscious advanced (multi-drug) sedation unless an appropriately trained second practitioner is present who has the sole responsibility for administering the sedation and monitoring the patient.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using conscious sedation unless it is a standard IV sedation technique administered by an appropriately trained sedation team who are also responsible for monitoring the patient.
- The provider will treat service users aged from birth.
- The provider must not allow facial, or body aesthetic treatments or thread lift procedures to be provided to children under the age of 18.
- The provider must not allow sedation to be used on service users under the age of 12 unless it is inhalation sedation using nitrous oxide and oxygen administered by a trained sedation team.
- The provider must not allow advanced (multi-drug) sedation to be used on service users under the age of 16.
- The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.
- The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.
- The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
- The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.
