Conditions of registration

  1. The service must only operate between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
  2. The provider will operate an independent clinic.
  3. The provider must only treat service users aged 18 or over.
  4. The provider must only treat patients individually, group treatments are not permitted.
  5. The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.
  6. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.
  7. The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.
  8. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.
  9. The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs.
  10. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
  11. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
