Conditions of registration

  1. To operate an independent clinic between the hours of 07:00 – 22:00 Monday – Sunday.
  2. The service will only treat service users aged 18 or over.
  3. The provider must not allow children under the age of 18 to be present during any consultations, treatments or procedures.
  4. The service will provide non-surgical treatments.
  5. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
  6. Service users must be treated individually. Group treatments are not permitted.
  7. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
  8. No animals or pets in the area where the service is provided, with the exception of service animals.
  9. The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulse light treatments or procedures to be carried out.
  10. The provider must not allow the provision of general or cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening.
  11. The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs.
  12. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
  13. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.
