Summary
Quality of care (QoC) reviews are a care assurance process which can help to determine the extent to which people in receipt of healthcare have their needs and outcomes met through the provision of high quality, safe and effective person-centred care.
The focus of the evaluation will be to identify how the guidance has been used in practice;
- where the guidance has been implemented across boards within Scotland (demonstrate spread or alignment to local care assurance processes)
- barriers and enablers to the implementation of the QoC review guidance
