How NHS staff can raise concerns

We recognise it is not easy for staff working across the NHS in Scotland to raise concerns they might have about an NHS service. The health and wellbeing of people in the care of our NHS must always be the main priority.

Raising your concerns can:

  • help protect the public from harm
  • improve standards of care

For information on how to raise concerns about an NHS Scotland service and which national organisation may be the most appropriate to direct your concerns to, please see our guidance document
