Our reducing long waits (sprints) programme will support boards across Scotland to improve waiting times to reduce the chances of patients waiting 52 weeks or more for planned care services.
The sprint method is a quality improvement process to help services rapidly assess, identify and implement changes to tackle the current issues that have led to long waiting times. Teams enrolling in the programme will commit to a 20-week period of improvement.
