Summary
We recommend to Scottish Ministers the new Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Inpatient Nurse Staffing Level Tool Version 1. This tool will be hosted on the SafeCare platform and will be live from 30 October 2025.
The recommendations paper to Scottish Ministers was produced by the Healthcare Staffing Programme. It outlines the detail of how we undertook the work and the evidence to support the recommendations.
