Conditions of registration

1. To operate an independent clinic between the hours of 09:00 – 18:00 Monday – Saturday.
2. The service will provide non-surgical treatments.
3. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
4. Service users must be treated individually. Group treatments are not permitted.
5. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
6. No animals or pets in the area where the service is provided, with the exception of service animals.
7. No laser treatments or procedures will be carried out.
8. No Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatments or procedures will be carried out.
9. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
10. No prescribing of controlled drugs.
11. The service shall not provide the remote diagnosis and treatment of patients.
12. Proposed additional conditions of registration (to be agreed by a senior inspector).
13. The service will not treat service users aged 5 or under.
