Conditions of registration
- The provider will operate an independent clinic.
- The service must only operate between the hours of 07:00 and 21:00 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
- The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely Abscess draining (non-surgical or minor surgical depending on procedure), Audiology, Blood tests, Cardiology (ECG and ultrasound), coil insertion, Ear irrigation/wax suction/syringing, GP consultations (without prescription of CD’s), Hayfever injections (off license use), Health MOT, joint injections, respiratory function tests, minor surgical procedures, namely Carpal tunnel procedures, hand wrist surgery, Laser vision correction, Lipoma removal, Removal: burn excision/debridement, boil, corn/callouses, mole, skin tag, verruca, wart, toe nail, minor scar revision, flexible cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, bletheroplasty, Trigger finger surgery (minor) Varicose vein treatment: Endovenous Laser Ablation and Ophthalmic surgery (cataract removal/lens replacement.
- The provider must not allow more than 55 surgical procedures per day.
- The provider must not allow any intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.
- The provider will treat service users aged 3 or over.
- The provider must not allow aesthetic or cosmetic treatments or procedures to be provided to children under the age of 18.
- The provider must not allow children under the age of 18 to be present during any consultations, treatments or procedures unless they are the service user.
- All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- The provider must ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients.
- The provider must ensure that all healthcare professionals working in the service have a licence to practice in the United Kingdom.
- The provider must only treat patients individually, group treatments are not permitted.
- The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
- The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.
