Conditions of registration
- The provider will operate an independent clinic.
- The service must only operate between the hours of 0800 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
- The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely physiotherapy, podiatry, counselling and oxygen therapy.
- The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out.
- The provider must only treat service users aged 16 and over.
- The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.
- The provider must ensure that all healthcare professionals working in the service have a license to practice in the United Kingdom.
- The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where treatments are provided, with the exception of service animals.
- The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments (including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics).
- The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of healthcare.
- The service must have processes in place to ensure maintenance and safety of their hyperbaric oxygen equipment.
- The service must ensure patients receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy will only do so after consultation with their GP.
