Conditions of registration

1. To operate an Independent Hospital between the hours of 7:30 am and midnight, Monday to Sunday.
2. To provide a maximum of 30 surgical procedures per day.
3. A consultant anaesthetist must be present on the premises if any treatment or procedure involves the administration of general anaesthesia or sedation.
4. The duty anaesthetist must be informed of any procedures involving local anaesthesia on patients aged between 16 – 17 years.
5. No treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of general anaesthesia in any patients under the age of 16 years.
6. No treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of local anaesthesia in any patients under the age of 16 years.
