Conditions of registration

  1. The service will operate as an independent hospital providing a specialist assessment, rehabilitation and respite healthcare service to service users with acquired brain injury.
  2. No one under the age of 16 years to be seen or treated on the premises.
  3. To provide a maximum of 21 in-patient places.
  4. To provide out-patient services.
  5. A registered medical officer to be on call over 24 hours.
  6. To provide 24 hour nursing care.
  7. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
