Conditions of registration
- This service will operate as a voluntary hospice providing specialist palliative care.
- No one under the age of 18 years to be seen or treated on the premises.
- To provide a maximum of 12 in-patient places.
- To provide 12 day care places.
- A registered medical officer with specialist experience of palliative care to be on call over 24 hours.
- To provide 24 hour nursing care.
- The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
