Conditions of registration

1. The provider will operate an independent hospital.
2. The service will operate 24hrs Monday to Sunday.
3. The provider must only allow medical and surgical assessment and treatment in an in-patient environment.
4. The provider must not allow more than 80 surgical procedures per day.
5. The provider must not allow more than 28 in-patient places and 11 day-case places
6. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
7. The provider must only treat service users aged 16 or over.
8. The provider must not allow aesthetic or cosmetic treatments or procedures to be provided to children under the age of 18.
9. The provider must only consult and examine patients and Interventions including blood tests, ultrasound examination, x-rays including barium swallow, middle ear suction and administration of vaccines between the ages of 0 – 15 years on an out-patients basis.
10. The provider must ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients.
11. The provider must ensure that all healthcare professionals working in the service have a licence to practice in the United Kingdom.
12. The provider must ensure a registered medical officer is present in the service at all times.
13. The provider must only treat patients individually, group treatments are not permitted.
14. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
15. The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.
16. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
