Voices that matter: putting people at the centre of SIGN guidelines Webinar
Wednesday 20 May 2026, 2.30-3.20pm
Join us for an overview of how people are involved in the work of the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN). This webinar will explore how people with lived experience, carers, third sector representatives and members of the public contribute to guideline development. Using case examples, we will show how lived experience and third sector perspectives inform guideline questions, shape recommendations and help ensure guidelines reflect what matters most to people. We will highlight the impact of patient and public involvement (PPI) in making SIGN guidelines more person centred, relevant and meaningful for those who use services and those who deliver care across NHS Scotland.
