Summary
Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) is the treatment of cancer with medicines.
This report looks at the safe delivery of SACT across NHS Scotland, using our SACT governance framework.
Despite current pressures in the NHS, we found that SACT services in Scotland are safe. There was a consistent theme of commitment, dedicated teamwork and mutual support found across services.
We will track progress on the actions from the recommendations in the report.
