The aims of the event were to:

  • Strengthen multidisciplinary approaches to perinatal optimisation and engagement of women / birthing people and families
  • Share practical insights on leading change to support a culture of safety
  • Provide an opportunity to shape the national perinatal improvement programme
  • Provide a forum for teams working across maternity and neonatal services to share and learn together

The afternoon keynote speaker was Donald Peebles, who presented on ‘Leading change to support a culture of safety’.
