The aims of the event were to:
- Strengthen multidisciplinary approaches to perinatal optimisation and engagement of women / birthing people and families
- Share practical insights on leading change to support a culture of safety
- Provide an opportunity to shape the national perinatal improvement programme
- Provide a forum for teams working across maternity and neonatal services to share and learn together
The afternoon keynote speaker was Donald Peebles, who presented on ‘Leading change to support a culture of safety’.
