What are project surgery sessions?
Project surgery sessions bring together members of the Scottish Approach to Change learning community to discuss live challenges for collective problem solving and practical support.
They provide an opportunity to connect with and learn from other learning community members.
Session format
Each session will focus on 2-4 individual challenges – attendees will pre-select which discussion they would like to take part in as part of the registration process.
Each topic will be explored in a small virtual breakout room, where the person bringing the challenge will present it and hear ideas, insights and practical suggestions from other learning community members.
Sessions will be informal and will not be recorded to enable open conversation, build trust, and maintain confidentiality.
Submitting a challenge
If you have a challenge around delivering change that you would like to share and explore with other learning community members in a safe space, please complete this form by 12:00pm on Tuesday 9 June 2026.
We are looking for challenges that focus on how to make change happen rather than on specific clinical or care interventions. This could include areas such as:
- engaging with stakeholders
- gaining leadership support
- measuring the impact of change
- deciding which changes to spread
Registration
Registration to attend our first project surgery session on Tuesday 14 July 2026 at 12:00-1:00pm as a participant will open soon.
