On 23 April 2024 Stephanie Stewart, Senior Improvement Advisor, Transformation and Improvement in Drugs, Alcohol and Housing (TIDAH), Healthcare Improvement Scotland, hosted the seventh MAT Standards national webinar.
The session focused on practice to support the implementation MAT Standard 3 (Assertive Outreach and Anticipatory Care) and 8 (Independent Advocacy and Social Support).
We discussed examples of good practice where housing, homelessness and addiction teams are working well together and the impact of this, looking specifically at;
- Rapid Rehousing Transition Plans
- The role housing can play in MAT Standards implementation
- Collaborative working to supporting those with addiction in their tenancies
