During our inspection, we:

  • inspected the ward and hospital environment

  • accessed patients’ health records, monitoring reports, policies and procedures

Our findings

This inspection resulted in four areas of good practice and two requirements.

“The ward was clean and well maintained and staff were knowledgeable about infection prevention and control. We saw effective systems and processes for infection prevention and control and obtaining patient and family feedback on cleanliness.”
