On Tuesday 16 September, our Reform team within the Transformational Change Mental Health Unit hosted an online webinar. This webinar explored how staff can be supported, educated and mentored to develop more confidence in working with people with complex mental health needs.
We heard from:
- Dr Tim Agnew, who spoke about general considerations in developing staff confidence in working with people with complex mental health needs. Key areas included education and awareness raising, together with consultation and supervision.
 - Dr Jackie Stirling and Emma Ritchie who spoke about how they have developed and mentored staff to work in the Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) pathway.
 - Dr Danielle Graham and Jemma Young who spoke about co-delivering an Emotional Coping Skills Group with multi-disciplinary staff.
