On Tuesday 24 February 2026, the Delayed Discharge Improvement Programme hosted a national learning system webinar looking at Initiating Improvement in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities.

The webinar, intended for professionals involved in managing delayed discharged within mental health and learning disabilities aimed to:

• share resources and good practice
• update on local improvement work and hear from participating boards
• create opportunities for networking
• share good practice around reducing delayed discharge and improving patient flow across mental health and learning disabilities
