Summary
Between 2017 and 2019, 44 people died from drug-related causes in Levenmouth. Twenty-six of these deaths were in Methil. Following this, Fife Alcohol and Drug Partnership reviewed local needs and set new priorities. These were shaped by data, planning, and the views of people with lived and living experience.
The partnership’s main goal is to save lives and reduce stigma. It uses a “no wrong door” approach, so people can get support wherever they first ask for help. People can access both general and specialist services in a safe, warm, and welcoming place.
