Summary
A human rights-based approach is a key part of work in West Lothian. The aim is to help everyone understand human rights and how to apply them in their work. This will support staff development, improve services, and help make sure services meet people’s needs.
Over the next few months, 20 workshops will be held for around 360 people. Staff from public and third sector services will be invited to attend. People with lived and living experience, and their families, will also be able to take part.
We will evaluate the programme to make sure a wide range of views are included. The findings will help shape local workforce development and plans to improve delivery of the MAT Standards.
