Our Improving access to integrated care programme will support NHS boards across Scotland to reduce waiting times. The programme will help rapidly assess, identify and implement changes to tackle the current issues that have led to waiting times being 40 weeks or more.
We are now opening to work with all services excluding ophthalmology, orthopaedics and mental health services.
We propose that the initial phase of this work takes place with up to 12 services across a 20-week period, following a four-week lead in for recruitment of boards.
