The programme aims to improve the quality of care experienced by people living with dementia. It aims to prevent and support stress and distress in hospital and care home settings and will have an impact on the health and social care system. It will:

  • reduce the length of hospital stay
  • reduce admissions to hospitals from care homes
  • reduce pharmacological interventions
