Conditions of registration
- The provider will operate an independent clinic.
- The service must only operate between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
- The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for diagnosed treatment-resistant depression and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for diagnosed mental health issues.
- The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments (including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics).
- The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using deep sedation or general anaesthesia.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using mild sedation unless an appropriately trained second practitioner is present who has the sole responsibility for administering and monitoring the sedation.
- The service must only treat service users aged 18 and over.
- The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
- The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.
- Service users must be treated individually. Group treatments are not permitted.
- The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
- No animals or pets in the area where the service is provided, with the exception of service animals.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using Ketamine unless an anaesthetist is present who has the sole responsibility for administering and monitoring the Ketamine.
- The service shall not provide the remote diagnosis and treatment of patients by means of algorithm.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using Ketamine until a Home Office License has been obtained.
