Conditions of registration

  1. This service will operate as a voluntary hospice providing specialist palliative care.
  2. No one under the age of 18 years to be seen or treated on the premises.
  3. To provide a maximum of 4 in-patient places.
  4. A registered medical officer with specialist experience of palliative care to be on call 24 hours per day.
  5. To provide 24 hour nursing care.
  6. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
