Conditions of registration

1. To operate an independent clinic between the hours of 07:00 – 21:00 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
2. The service shall ensure that staff possessing the appropriate skills, training and experience are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of all service users.
3. Service users must be treated individually. Group treatments are not permitted.
4. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
5. No animals or pets are permitted in the area where the service is provided, with the exception of service animals.
6. No Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatments or procedures will be carried out.
7. No laser treatments or procedures will be carried out.
8. Treatment can be provided under Intravenous sedation. Only standard sedation techniques must be used, with an appropriately trained sedation team.
9. The service will provide specialist dental treatment on referral. The specialist disciplines available are restorative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, periodontology, oral surgery, endodontics and oral & maxillofacial radiology. Treatment under IV sedation with midazolam is available.
