Conditions of registration

1. The provider will operate an independent clinic

2. The service must only operate between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.

3. The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely facial and body aesthetics treatments, blood tests, laser and IPL treatment, GP consultation/assessment/treatment, occupational health consultation/assessment/treatment and minor surgical treatments, namely laser minor surgical procedures.

4. The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics.

5. The provider must not allow any exposures ionising radiation to be carried out.

6. The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs.

7. The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.

8. The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.

9. The provider will treat service users from birth for GP consultations only.

10. The provider will treat service users aged 14-18 years for medically diagnosed dermatological conditions only.

11. The provider must not allow facial or body aesthetic treatments to be provided to children under the age of 18.

12. The provider must not allow children under the age of 18 to be present during any consultations, treatments or procedures unless they are the service user.

13. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

14. The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.

15. The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.

16. The provider must only treat patients individually, group treatments are not permitted.

17. The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.

18. The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.
