Scottish Government is progressing a business case to set out a clearer position on the longer-term vision for MDT working.
Governance arrangements
They will also outline governance arrangements that will support the conclusion of the business case process. It will be an objective, evidence-based appraisal of the options for the future approach to MDT working. It will incorporate the learning and evidence from the PCPIP.
Stakeholders
They are working with key stakeholders including:
- NHS boards
- Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCP)
- Professional groups
Timescales
It is expected that the process will conclude in autumn 2026.
