On Wednesday 29 April, the SPSP Perinatal team held a webinar focusing on the implementation of the new national Maternity Early Warning Score (MEWS) in Scotland. The webinar was chaired by Jacqui Laurie, Strategic National Clinical Lead for Women’s Health at Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

We heard from our guest presenters:

  • Tony Kelly and Hannah Rutter from the National Maternity and Neonatal Programme in England and,
  • Chris Hancock and Elinore MacGillivray from NHS Wales Performance and Improvement.
