Conditions of registration
- The provider will operate an independent clinic.
- The service must only operate between the hours of 07.00 and 21.00 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
- The provider must only allow minor surgical treatments, namely [laser minor surgical procedures], [ophthalmic minor surgical procedures].
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
- The service must not allow the provision of dental treatments (including dental hygiene treatments, tooth whitening, dental implants or orthodontics).
- The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs.
- The provider must now allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.
- The provider must only treat service users aged 18 and over.
- The provider must not allow children under the age of 18 to be present during any consultations or procedures.
- The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.
- The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional body are actively registered.
- The provider must only treat patients individually; group treatments are not permitted.
- The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
- The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.
- The service must not prescribe medication for patients introduced by an unregulated third party organisation whereby the established governance structures prohibit, or indirectly restrict, the service being able to communicate directly, either virtual or in person, with the service user.
- The provider must only deliver consultations and treatments from 5 Orbital Court, East Kilbride, G74 5PH or 300 Strathtay Road, Broxden Roundabout, Perth, PH1 2JU. Treatments cannot be offered simultaneously from both premises.
