Safer, swifter, solutions: Our Annual Review 2025
Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, Neil Gray MSP praised Healthcare Improvement Scotland for leading improvements to health and care across the country.
Mr Gray joined us for the organisation’s Annual Review, where he heard first-hand about our work.

- A public session
The public session gave stakeholders the opportunity to hear about our work and ask questions.

The Cabinet Secretary said: “The day served to illustrate the breadth and the depth of the involvement that Healthcare Improvement Scotland has, from providing what people see in the media, but also to providing the support to teams and clinicians up and down the country.”

Our chief executive Robbie Pearson, who had a private working lunch with the Cabinet Secretary, was delighted by the success of the Annual Review.
He added: “Our annual review demonstrated everything that’s good about Healthcare Improvement Scotland and our achievements over a busy year. With considerable pride, I was able to share that with the Cabinet Secretary. He was absolutely delighted.”
