Conditions of registration
- The provider will operate an independent clinic.
- The service must only operate between the hours of 07:00 and 21:00 Monday to Sunday, except for the provision of emergency care.
- The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely, [weight loss with GLP1 medication], [blood tests], [vaccinations] and [occupational health/personal health assessment].
- The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments (including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics).
- The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of controlled drugs.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
- The provider must not prescribe medication for patients introduced by an unregulated third-party organisation whereby the established governance structures prohibit, or indirectly restrict, the service being able to communicate directly, either virtual or in person, with the service user.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using any form of sedation or general anaesthesia.
- The provider will treat service users from birth.
- The provider must only treat service users from birth to 18 years of age for vaccinations.
- The provider must not allow children under the age of 18 to be present during any consultation, treatment or procedures unless they are the service user.
- All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.
- The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.
- The provider must only treat patients individually: group treatments are not permitted.
- The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where treatments are provided, with the exception of service animals.
- The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of healthcare.
