Conditions of registration
- The provider will operate an independent medical agency.
- The service will operate 24hrs Monday to Sunday.
- The provider must only allow non-surgical treatments, namely [Blood tests] and [GP consultation/assessment/treatment].
- The provider must not allow domiciliary care on an out-of-hours basis.
- The provider must not allow any laser or intense pulsed light treatments or procedures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the provision of dental treatments (including dental hygiene treatments, dental implants, tooth whitening and orthodontics.
- The provider must not allow any cosmetic or restorative dentistry to be provided.
- The provider must not allow any ionising radiation exposures to be carried out.
- The provider must not allow the face-to-face treatment of patients in any fixed premises.
- The provider must not allow the prescribing of cannabis-based medicinal products.
- The provider must not prescribe medication for patients introduced by an unregulated third-party organisation whereby the established governance structures prohibit, or indirectly restrict, the service being able to communicate directly, either virtual or in person, with the service user.
- The provider must not allow any treatments or procedures to be carried out using conscious sedation, deep sedation or general anaesthesia.
- The provider will treat service users aged two years and upwards.
- The provider must not allow facial or body aesthetic treatments to be provided to children under the age of 18.
- All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- The provider must ensure that staff possess the appropriate skills, knowledge and experience and that they are provided in sufficient numbers to ensure the safety and welfare of patients, the public and wider workforce.
- The provider must ensure that staff requiring to be registered by a professional regulating body are actively registered.
- The provider must only treat patients individually; group treatments are not permitted.
- The provider must not allow service users to consume alcohol while in receipt of health care.
- The provider must not allow animals or pets in the area where the treatments are provided, except for service animals.
